Congratulations Cutters 98 Girls for being finalists in the 2010 Murray Cup at Carmel over Memorial Day weekend.  The 98 Girls defeated Carmel United Premiere White 3-0 and Zionsville Eagles Select 2-1 in the round robin to qualify for the final.

Cutters 95 Red at TFA United Cup

The Cutters 95 Red participated in the TFA United Cup in Cincinnati March 27 & 28th.  The team won all 3 of their games in round robin group play to advance to the final.  The 95 Red’s were defeated 3-1 in the final by TNT Dynamite 95 out of central Michigan.  “The team made real progress at this preseason tournament”, said Tom Berry, the team’s coach.  “I was very pleased by the team’s focus and effort throughout the weekend.  We learned some things about our team that we can address prior to league play and State Cup.  Hopefully getting to the final will inspire them to keep striving for improvement.”  The 95 Red team will participate in the ISL 1st Division for the spring 2010 season.

94 Boys Red at MASC tourney

The 94 Boys Red participated in the MASC tournament in Cincinnati (4/17/10) and finished first in the U16 Gold age division.  The 94 Red went undefeated in round robin play to advance into the final.  The team defeated Worthington Crew Jr’s in the final 3-0.  “We focused on creating chances to score and when we did create, the team did a fantastic job of finishing, said Coach Paul Kerridge.  The team outscored their opponents 14-5 and shut out their opponents 6 out of the 8 periods played.  The picture above is from the team dinner at the Spaghetti Factory on Saturday night of the tournament weekend.  Shirt and tie required….right Coach Kerridge?

Congrats to the ’92 and ’93 Boys Red teams!  The ’92 team received the #4 seed and the ’93 team received the #3 seed in the upcoming State Cup Tournament.  The 92 Boys red are repeating as a top seed from the 2009 State Cup.  The 93 Boys Red has been named a top 4 seed four years running.  Congrats to both teams on a tremendous achievement to be recognized as one of the top teams in the state.

The Cutters Mens team became the Indiana State Champions in the US Open Cup and will play their next game on May 3rd at Karst Farm Park. Players include the following Club coaches: Tommy Berry (Director of Coaching), Phil Presser (U17 Boys), Tom Parry (U16 Boys), Victor Kaposonore (U14 Boys) and Nick Hargett (U13 Boys).
