Cutters Soccer Club debuts new look, honors benefactors
at Sponsor Appreciation Night
February 9, 2015
Bloomington, Indiana—On Thursday, January 29, Cutters Soccer Club held their inaugural Sponsor Appreciation Night to unveil the club’s new image and honor past, current and potential future sponsors. Board members, area businesses and influential names in the soccer community were in attendance at the intimate event.
Sponsored and hosted by Upland Brewing Company, Cutters’ Sponsor Appreciation Night welcomed over 90 attendees with local cuisine, beer and music by Trio Collective. Esteemed guests and keynote speakers included IU Men’s Soccer Head Coach Todd Yeagley, Indy 11 Head Coach Juergen Sommer, Indiana Soccer Executive Director Dave Guthrie, and Indiana Soccer League Commissioner George Perry.
As part of their rebranding efforts, Cutters Soccer Club partnered with Blueline Media Productions to enhance their overall brand image and create a more user-friendly website that provides parent and player resources, highlights Community Outreach efforts and showcases club sponsors. “Cutters’ mission and values have always been in the forefront of everything we do, but we wanted that to reflect more strongly on our website and in our interaction with the community,” stated Michael Nosofsky, Director of Development.
Cutters’ Sponsor Appreciation Night recognized those who continue to support the club and emphasized the impact that sponsors make on the Bloomington soccer community. Sponsors defer the costs of providing scholarships to players in need and contributions allow the club to be more actively involved in civic engagement through their Community Outreach Program, providing soccer opportunities to area children’s organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Down Syndrome Family Connection.
